Sensei and Lineage
Andrea Pfisterer (5th Dan) has been training Aikido since 1995. During half a year with Lewis Bernaldo de Quiros Sensei in Holland and from 1996 to 2005 with Hanspeter Dietz. She taught regularly for several years at the Aikido Institute City, the Maru Dojo Bern and the Park. She continues her education at international stages, as well as during two longer stays in Japan, in 1999 in Iwama with Morihiro Saito Sensei, in 2003 in Kobe with Shingo Nakao Sensei. She is a Shiatsu therapist at Good Training. Together with her husband Nik Bärtsch, she regularly conducts workshops for musicians. At the Kokoro Dojo, she also leads the children’s training.

Weapons Loan
Travelling with your weapons on public transport can be inconvenient and
expensive. We have a number of white oak ken and jo that we can lend.
These must be booked in advance. Please contact us
if you would like to borrow weapons.
